ABOUT ME

I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree from CSE Department at IIT Delhi. I am a curious and creative individual with strong analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving. I aspire to be an interdisciplinary professional, integrating computer science and technology with diverse fields to foster holistic development. I will be joining Bain & Company as an Associate Consultant Intern in the Summers of 2025!

I am one of the 6 recipients of the Bain True North Scholarship, 2024, in India. I was also honored with the Aditya Birla Scholarship for class of 2022-23, being one of 17 recipients selected from top engineering colleges. Additionally, I am a Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholar, awarded to the top 5k meritorious students in India.

Over the past two years, I have actively participated in numerous national and international conferences and summits on Digital Health and MedTech. As a culmination of these experiences, I authored an article titled Learning AI in Healthcare, which has been featured in esteemed publications such as Medical Buyer and Industrial Automation.

I have been an intern at NSE India, with the EPR Team, where my work was primarily in regularisation and modelling of CM and FO data. During my internship at Aditya Birla, Mumbai, I worked with OAB Team on developing strategy analysis tool for assessing performance based on market indices and VIX fluctuations. I have interned at IIT Bombay, under Prof. Supratik Chakraborty, where I worked on a systems biology tool named FUSiON (Functional Significance Checking in Noisy Gene Regulatory Networks).

I have actively participated in extracurricular activities. Currently, I serve as the Coordinator for ACES-ACM, the official student chapter of ACM and the CSE Society at IITD, where we organize events for CSE students and enthusiasts. I am also a Coordinator for DevClub, the development club at IITD, focusing on external collaborations to promote women in tech. Additionally, I am an Executive at the Algorithms and Coding Club (ANCC), where we organize workshops and contests. Apart from the tech world, I am a part of Nrityarat : Indian Classical Dance Society and Mridang : Indian Classical Music Society at IITD, where I have performed at various events and competitions.

MY PROJECTS

ASR Corrector
This project developed an Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) corrector using local beam search to enhance ASR outputs by minimizing errors through phoneme mappings, word frequencies, and DP.
SAT Solver
This solver uses VSIDS initially, switching to Random Choice after a set number of conflicts. It includes backjumping via UIP nodes, clause learning, and restarts from level 0 to simplify logic and avoid local minima.
Havannah Playing Agent
The goal of this project was to build a game-playing AI agent for the game Havannah. The core algorithm utilizes Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS) combined with Rapid Action Value Estimation (RAVE) and Frames (human intelligence) to efficiently explore and identify optimal moves in the game of Havannah.
Deep Learning Projects
This project is a collection of deep learning projects that I worked on. The first part of the project is a bird classifier, achieving an accuracy of nearly 93% on test set, and the other part is on representational learning on the MNIST dataset using a variational autoencoder (including GMM clustering on latent space).
Stock Market Simulator
This project allows real-time stock price updates, stock comparison and filtering, a real-time buying and selling interface, and a portfolio to track past stocks and their profits/losses.
Game Based Tracker for ADHD
This project provides interactive games to help individuals with ADHD track their progress, assess cognitive abilities, and measure symptom intensity through engaging, game-based interventions.
Resting State Functional Connectivity
This project identifies the functional connectivity network in the resting human brain using probabilistic graphical models to represent and identify "hubs" where neuro-attacks are observed.
TCP-like UDP
The objective of the project is to implement a simple file-transfer protocol using UDP Sockets. However, since UDP is unreliable and has no congestion control, we piggyback on TCP mechanisms.
Software-Defined Networks
The objective of the assignment is to get familiar with the OpenFlow APIs and implement key networking policies : Hub Controller, Learning Switch, Spanning Tree, Shortest-Path Routing and Congestion-aware Shortest-Path Routing.
Word-Counting Client
The goal of this assignment is to familiarize oneself with socket programming, client-server communication (single and multi-client), and scheduling algorithms (Slotted Aloha, BEB, CSCD, FIFO-Scheduling and Fair-Scheduling).
Text Extractor
This project is designed to parse text from various media types: audio (.wav), video (.mp4), and text documents (.pdf). It utilizes Python and its libraries, relying exclusively on free APIs and libraries.
Corpus Search Tool
This project creates a program to process a corpus and answer user queries through openai api by developing a search mechanism for retrieving relevant information from the corpus.
Cache Simulator
This project simulates a single-level cache, which depending on the hit, miss and replacement policies outputs the cache performance.
Single Cycle RISC-V Processor
This project simulates a single cycle processor in RISC-V architecture. ALU, Register file and Decoder were designed and simulated in Logisim.
Edge Detection & Image Filter
This project implements edge detection in VHDL and Python (using Pillow library), displays the output on a VGA monitor, and extends to image filtering with a 3x3 kernel filter.
Urban Malnutrition
This survey-based project addresses urban malnutrition with traditional food alternatives, suggesting quick, delicious recipes to combat lifestyle diseases and unhealthy eating habits like skipping breakfasts, binge eating and fast food.
